Practice makes prepared. Safety drills are an essential part of keeping our school community ready for any situation. Through regular, well-planned practice, our students and staff develop the confidence and muscle memory needed to respond effectively during emergencies.

L'Anse Creuse Public Schools is compliant with our safety drill practices.

Planning and coordination. We provide our annual safety drill schedule to the local emergency management coordinator by September 15 each year, ensuring coordination with community emergency response efforts.
Documentation and reporting. Within 30 school days of each completed drill, schools will post documentation on their website so families can stay informed about our preparedness activities.
Flexibility for safety. If weather or other conditions beyond our control require rescheduling a drill, we reschedule within 10 days and notify the appropriate emergency management coordinator.
