Facility Rental
Community Use Registration and Application
L'Anse Creuse uses an online software called FMX for all facility use and athletic field requests within the district. All outside groups are required to set up an account and provide liability insurance as part of the application process. Please see below some simple steps on creating and completing facility use requests.
Step 1:
Create an account using the following link to FMX: Scheduling Link for Events
Step 2:
Within the FMX software, you will be required to upload liability insurance that covers the dates you are requesting space. See below for more information on how to obtain liability insurance.
Step 3:
Once your liability insurance is approved, you will be able to view the calendar and schedule a request(s) for approval. You will receive an email notification that your account has been approved.
Step 4:
After you have scheduled a request, an approval process will take place for that specific event. Once your event is approved, you will receive an email notification.
Please find below additional links and helpful information on how to create account in the FMX software, submitting a schedule request, district facility use rates, and terms and conditions. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the Business Office at 586-783-6300 ext. 1212.

Provisions for Use
It is the policy of L'Anse Creuse Public Schools to permit the use of district buildings and grounds by properly organized and responsible groups, provided that such use does not interfere with the regular school day or any school-sponsored student activity. The following list outlines the general priority order for facility use. Please be aware that L’Anse Creuse Public Schools reserves the right to revoke or reschedule previously approved facility use in favor of a group with higher priority. The typical priority order is:
School Use
Community Education
School Booster Groups
Other Government Organizations (e.g., Parks & Recreation)
Community Groups
Use by for-profit organizations will be considered as space and scheduling permit.
You must review all provisions of the Facility Use Terms and Conditions.
If insurance coverage is needed, short-term or event-specific policies can be obtained through the GatherGuard or Event Helper websites (links below). Both platforms allow you to generate special event policies online, and when L’Anse Creuse is listed as the vendor or rental location. Once the renter submits payment, the policy and certificate of insurance will be issued and can be sent directly to the school. Costs are reasonable and vary depending on the type of event and expected attendance, with policies starting at just $75.00.

Building Access and Supervision
Please note that no individual or group is permitted to enter any L’Anse Creuse Public Schools building without an approved facility use request that has been processed and approved. All indoor events will be monitored by a designated district representative—typically a building custodian, groundskeeper, security officer, or building aide. Additional supervision costs may apply and will be the responsibility of the requester.
Special Use Facilities
The John R. Armstrong Performing Arts Center, pools, and football stadiums are designated as special-use facilities. Due to the nature of these spaces—including liability considerations, associated costs, and the scope of required services—a separate contract may be required.
Please review the Fee Schedule for applicable rates. For more information or to discuss the use of these facilities, please contact the appropriate district representative listed below.

Fundraiser Events
Events associated with fundraising will not be approved without the completion of the required fundraising form. Facility use for fundraising purposes is restricted to events that support district programs, clubs, booster organizations, PTOs, or other groups officially recognized as district affiliates—as determined solely by the Superintendent or designee. All proceeds must be made payable to and processed by L’Anse Creuse Public Schools.
Consideration may be given to outside groups whose events serve the best interests of the L’Anse Creuse Public Schools community, at the sole discretion of the Superintendent or designee.
