Doug Hewitt (1975, LCHS)

Doug Hewitt released a new book "Raising Khane," a science fiction thriller, on Nov. 19, 2012. His wife, Robin Hewitt (also a L'Anse Creuse alumnus), released "Crawford Hill, the first in a series of erotic psychological thrillers, on Nov. 19, 2012.

Steve Oleksy (2004, LCHS-N)

Steve Oleksy is a National Hockey League (NHL) player and the first LCHS-N alumni to become a professional athlete in the school’s history. After graduating college, Oleksy played for the East Coast Hockey League and International Hockey League before signing with minor league team, the Hershey Bears. On March 5, 2013, he was called up to play in the NHL for the Washington Capitals.

Jenny Risher (1993, LCHS-North)

Jenny Risher released a book, "Heart, Soul, Detroit" and will host an opening party and exhibition for HEART SOUL DETROIT at The Center Galleries, 301 Frederick Douglass, Detroit, Mi 48202/College for Creative Studies/ Manoogian Visual Resource Center on Jan. 25 .  The exhibit is open until March 2.
