All Performing Arts Courses Require Participation in All Performances Scheduled by the Instructors. Some performances serve as Final Exams. Students who do not participate in all regularly scheduled performances may not pass the course.

Dance-Mrs. Thuman, thumani@lc-ps.org Theatre-Mr. Trzaskoma, trzasgr@lc-ps.org,
Auditions are a subjective process and are not the ultimate measure of one’s talent, but they are the best method we have for determining placement in a performing arts program.
We carefully review auditions and student responses on their audition forms with the goal of creating the best mix of students possible. Every year the students in the program are re-evaluated, and some students are placed out of the program while others who were waitlisted are admitted.
Every student has unique talents. We respect them and thank them for their interest and audition for the programs. If a student is denied admittance into the program this year and still wishes to pursue the performing arts, they are encouraged to take acting classes at their home schools and to actively participate in the after-school dramaprograms that Pankow Center, their home schools, or private studios may offer. We sincerely hope they continue to pursue their interest in the performing arts.
