East MS Activities / Clubs

At Middle School East, we strive to get every student involved in some way shape or form with the larger school community. We firmly believe that students who are involved do better academically and socially in school and feel that sense of belonging. For more information on clubs at East, contact the teacher sponsor associated with a club below.

If you are a parent, or student, that wants to be a part of a club that you don't see below, contact Mr. MacIntosh in the main office and he will help you with the process of creating a club!

Student Council

Many students are involved in student council at Middle School - East. Each grade votes on several representative and alternates. From this officers are voted on and all students are placed on committees. Committees include posters, fundraising, decorating, teacher’s appreciation week, bulletin boards, concessions, and t-shirts.

Student council has several responsibilities. They include running the concessions both at home football and track meets, planning the after school parties four times a year, recognizing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week in the spring, etc. The students are constantly looking for ideas to help the students at Middle School - East. Monthly meetings are held during the school day to plan these functions.

Committees may meet outside of the regularly scheduled student council meetings to complete smaller tasks. If you would like more information about student council or have ideas to contribute please contact any student council member or sponsor.
