Higgins Elementary offers students opportunities to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful connections beyond the classroom.

Student Council (Grades 3–5)
Student Council empowers students to become leaders within our school community. Members work together to promote school spirit, organize service projects and special events, and serve as positive role models while representing the voices of their peers.

Science Olympiad (Grades 3–5)
Science Olympiad provides students with exciting, hands-on opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Team members participate in engaging challenges that encourage problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking while preparing for regional competitions.
