Welcome to Carkenord Elementary

Package Pick Up will take place on August 18th.  Families should bring their completed paperwork from their packets that were mailed home.  If you do not receive a packet, you will be asked to bring 2 proofs of residency to package pick up.  One should be your lease or mortgage statement.  The other can be a utility bill, cell phone bill, tax statement, bank statement, etc.  

Hours are 

• 9 -12
• 1-4
• 6-7 pm.

Come any time during the above time frames.  Plan to spend 15-30 minutes here.  

Bring your Kindergarten student and plan to stay the whole time!  Kindergarteners will get a tour of the school while parents get to learn about the kindergarten school day in the classrooms.

Feel free to bring a blanket or some camp chairs and relax and eat on the playground.  We will have food trucks with items to purchase.  There will be inflatables and other interactive activities in addition to the playground for students to enjoy!

Families of students in 1st-5th grades are encouraged to come during the hour-long window to see their classrooms and meet their teachers.  Plan on spending 10-15 minutes in the classroom.  Students are welcome to drop off their supplies.

All new families are encouraged to attend this short presentation to learn more about Carkenord.  It's a great chance to meet the principal too.
