L’Anse Creuse Public Schools would like to express our heartfelt condolences for the families and friends of those impacted by yesterday’s tragic events. L’Anse Creuse is close-knit community and yesterday’s accident has impacted three of our high schools and neighboring district, Richmond Community Schools. Our administrators and staff have done an excellent job implementing our crisis plan to support students at each of our high schools. This plan includes sustained counseling services for all students for as long as they have need of these services. We would also like to thank our community who has provided excellent support as we grieve through this period. We will be placing a letter to our community on our Web site at www.lc-ps.org. Any updates will be provided as necessary. To focus our energies on our students and staff, we are requesting that all community calls be directed to 586-783-6300. Thank you.
