Living L'Anse Creuse

Emerson - Lobbestael When my daughter was in the 4th grade at Lobbestael, her teacher was concerned about her classroom performance and attention level. After talking to her, I took my daughter to her pediatrician and tested her for ADHD. Her doctor placed her on meds and she is a changed child. I am forever grateful for this teacher and how she cared so much to bring up the possibility of this. Thank you L’Anse Creuse School district.
Graduate & Teacher I am a 1990 graduate of LCN. Since my early childhood days at Tenniswood, with wonderful teachers and an amazing principal, Mr. Carkenord, I knew I wanted to not only be a teacher but hopefully work within the L'Anse Creuse district. With hard work and a lot of determination, I am fortunate to be a LC grad in 1990 and now employee. I loved my 12 years of teaching 1st - 5th grade at Atwood and the past 5 years of teaching math at LC-East. L'Anse Creuse is not only my educator, my employer but also my family.
Leader in Me “My youngest attends Higgins elementary school. He is extremely shy at times and has anxiety. The leader in me program has help him tremendously. He beams with excitement about how he contributes to running his classroom. The 7 steps gave him so much confidence in his abilities as a student and friend to his classmates.”
