Prep Workshop!

This workshop will:

- Show you the exact format of the test and the types of questions to expect on each section of the test

- Teach you specific SAT and testing strategies

- Give you practice with pacing

- Show how to access practice tests and answer keys that you can use at home

PSAT/ NMSQT Testing 

10th grade

The PSAT/NMSQT is a national standardized test that is used to determine National Merit Scholarship eligibility for students in the 11th grade.  This is NOT a qualifier for 10th grade students.  This test is being offered to 10th graders as a replacement test for the PSAT 10 they missed in April due to the Pandemic.  This Fall test is NOT required and is not a graduation requirement.  The PSAT 10 that will be administered this coming April will be required. 

Students who opt to take this test can access the registration for the test using the link below or they can find the link on the counseling web page. 

 Students should bring their school ID, number two pencils (no mechanicals) and a calculator.  Food or drink is not allowed in the testing room.  Cell phones are strictly prohibited and will be collected and stored in a safe location until the conclusion of testing. 

11th GRADE

The PSAT/NMSQT is a national standardized tests offered to 11th grade students who are interested in competing for National Merit Scholarship eligibility which are typically students in the top 25% of their class.  This test is a replacement test for the PSAT 10 that was cancelled due to the Pandemic.  This test is not required and is not a graduation requirement.  The SAT will be administered to all juniors this April and will be a requirement at that time.   Students who opt to take this test can access the registration for the test using the link below or they can find the link on the counseling web page.
