My name is Mrs. Shier and I have been teaching for over 20 years at Yacks Elementary. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.  My husband is also a teacher and we have a teenage son.  Our dog is a yellow lab named Barley.  She is 2 years old. 

I look forward to meeting and working with your child this year.  If you have any questions or concerns, please send a note with your child and I will be happy to answer you or contact you. 

I will send home our daily schedule the first week of school. 

Our curriculum will be discussed on curriculum night. 

Notes and reminders will be sent home periodically as needed.  Be sure to check your child's planner for daily reminders also.
