Mrs. Stoops' Web Page

I was born and raised in Lansing, MI.  In 1997, I graduated from Lansing Catholic Central High School, and went off to college.  I double majored in Exercise Physiology and Physical Education, with a minor in health.  I graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor in December of 2002. 

After graduating, I interviewed for an open physical education position at Middle School - East in late November of 2003, and taught health and physical education there until June 2006.  Currently I teach K-5 physical education at Yacks Elementary.  In May 2008, I earned my master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University.

I have always been interested in staying active and fit, and enjoy teaching students how to stay healthy in their everyday lives.  I hope students in my classes learn how to stay healthy and physically fit during their elementary, middle school, and high school years, and beyond.
