Mrs. Dichtel’s 3rd Grade Rules and Expectations:

Rules for a Caring Classroom

1. Talk nicely
2. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself
3. Be kind
4. Listen to each other
5. Raise your hand
6. Clean up after yourself
7. MOST IMPORTANTLY RESPECT…

There are rules you are expected to follow. These rules can be summarized with one word, RESPECT! All children in this class are expected to respect themselves, each other, adults and the materials/learning environment. If these rules are followed, you will love coming to school and learning the 3rd grade curriculum. I am sure that respect is already a rule at home, so it should not be difficult to transfer this rule to our 3rd grade classroom.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Dichtel

Third graders enjoy researching topics and learning about  the many different subjects that we are covering in school.  Below are several sites that you may find helpful throughout the year.  Also included are sites that have been recommended for children where they can play games and enjoy other activities.
