Hey, what do ya say
Let’s get a book
And read it today!

Let’s read for information
Write down all the facts
And take them home
In our back packs.

Let’s read for entertainment
Just for fun
And laugh and giggle
Until we’re done.

You can read a mind
Easy as blinking
If you read what I write
You know what I’m thinking.

Reading is like magic
Thoughts as words
The greatest invention,
Or so I’ve heard.

Our own March madness
Get out those books.
Read up a storm
And just get hooked—on reading!
