Well, we have been learning some great stuff in third grade. In science, we are learning all about plants. We had a great time on our field trip to Denewith's Greenhouse where we got to see an assembly line, smell and touch certain herbs, and even got to plant a flower to take home with us. Thanks to all the parents who were able to join us.

In Social Studies, we have just finished our unit on trasportation and will soon be moving on to the World Wars and The Great Depression!

We are still working on those multiplication fact in math. We are learning about 2 digit times 1 digit methods as well as 2 digit times 2 digit methods. They really need to know those facts first.

Announcements and Upcoming Events

•  The Tenniswood ice cream social is coming up on May 14th. We are doing a basket called "We All Scream for Ice Cream." I will be collecing donations over the next couple of weeks. It promises to be a fun and exciting family event, so we hope to see you all there!
