Meet Mrs. Whitehead

I received my Bachelors of Science degree in elementary education in Special Education from the University of Detroit Mercy. My Masters Degree in Reading and Language Arts was from Oakland University. Most recently, I received my Education Specialist degree in English as a Second Language from Wayne State University.

This is my 14th year of teaching in L'Anse Creuse. I started teaching preschool and middle school children at the Macomb County Youth Home. I moved to Tenniswood in 1994 and  have taught first grade, second grade, and third grade. I am teaching with Beth Handwork in a share time position. I am in school only in the morning and teach math, social studies and science. If you have any questions about these subjects or about your child's progress, please contact me at :
