  Education
My teaching degree was started at Eastern Michigan University and completed at Wayne State University!  I have completed a Master's Thesis in Bilingual/Bilcultural Education at Wayne State and am currently working on professional development in writing.  My personal goal is to one day author a children's book.
Field Experience
This is my 13th year as a teacher and my 13th year in the district.  I began my career developing and teaching a Spanish program at St. Scholastica in Detroit.  I have taught kindergarten through eighth grade.  In L'Anse Creuse, I was the Elementary Spanish Teacher for Tenniswood and South River.  I have also looped two groups of third and fourth graders here at Tenniswood that are now sophmores in high school!  I currently teach 3rd and 4th grade.   I love the diversity that my career has brought to me.  My motto is "You bring 'em, I'll teach 'em!"
Fast Facts
My husband and I are the proud parents of two girls, Olivia and Ava.  Olivia is 9 and Ava is 7.  Cooper is our family dog's name.  He is a beagle mix and is almost 2!  My passions include reading, exercising, acting and listening to music!  Teaching for me is like water to a duck.  I couldn't imagine doing anything else!
