Thank you for visiting my webpage!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Tracy Rubin. I have been the K-3 Resource Room Teacher at South River for four years and enjoy it tremendously. I earned my bachelor of arts degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities from Michigan State University. This summer I began my a master's program through MSU in Curriculum and Teaching. I feel so lucky to be a part of this school and community. South River is a wonderful place to be!
As a special education teacher, I see my role as two-fold. First, I am responsible for designing instruction that meets the IEP goals as well as my students unique academic and social needs. Second, I want to support students in the general education classroom. This means providing dual instruction that insures your child’s school success. I hope to blend these two instructional arenas and present and integrated instructional program for all of my students.
I am looking forward to another wonderful year at South River!
