Welcome to the Speech and Language page at South River Elementary!

My name is Patty Rondeau-Repka and I am the Speech and Language Pathologist at South River.  I also help with assistive technology within the district.  I am lucky to be at South River five days a week! 

South River Elementary was chosen to participate in a writing program with Macomb Intermediate School District called "Begin With Me".  Most of our third, fourth and fifth graders are participants.  The program targets students on how to become better writers using both low and high technology tools.  For more information about this wonderful program visit the website www.beginwithme.misd.net.

 

Articulation or sounds of speech are usually what parents notice first.  Most common errors in speech are the r and s sounds.  If you would like more information on ages for sounds please go to this website or email me for questions.
