       I have been teaching for seven years. My bachelor of science degree is from Wayne State University and my master's degree is from Marygrove college. Children truly are our future! It is a pleasure teaching them and watching them grow into independent learners.Some helpful things parents can do at home are reading to your child and having your child read to you.Then have your child retell the story, using characters and events. Third graders also need to know their basic multiplication facts by the end of third grade. Practicing these facts now will help them achieve this goal.
