The "Mr. Lees Life Story"

Graduated from South Lake High in 1972. Attended Eastern Michigan Universty majoring in painting and, of course, earning a teaching certificate.  Graduated in December 1976 and began teaching at L'Anse Creuse in September of 1977.   (Also earned a Masters Degree in Art Education, 1988.)  Laid off in 1982 and spent 2 1/2 years toiling at the Stroh Brewery in Detroit.  Returned to L'Anse Creuse in 1985 and have been here ever since.  I am a painter in my spare time and have exhibited my work at the Michigan Annual, an exhibit at The Art Center in Mt. Clemens and at the Michigan Education Association offices in Lansing, where one of my pieces is in their permanent collection.   I am married with two grown children.  Both of them are now married and my daughter has blessed my wife and I with two beautiful grandaughters, Molly and Ryan.
