Summer 2006
What’s Happening:
The addition is nearing completion and will be ready for students September 5. Furniture set up, technology installation and paint touch up continues.
Remodeling of selected classrooms is nearly complete and those rooms will also be ready Sept. 5. Selected remodeling included new flooring, electrical power, new casework, painting, ceilings and lighting.
Remodeling also included turning a former classroom into a Black Box Dance Studio.
Ceilings have been replaced in existing corridors.
New site utilities were installed and the parking lot was expanded with new asphalt and concrete curbs. Fencing has been replaced. A new storage garage has been built. New light poles will be installed prior to school starting.
Construction of the new auto tech lab has begun and masonry walls are going up.
Construction of the JPAC addition will begin following relocation of
Phase I June 2005 through August 2006 -Completed
Construction of 33,000 sq. ft. addition to north side of build- ing. Includes 3 new science labs, student commons area, digital electronics room, CIS networking and CIS program- ming rooms, visual imaging room, construction technology room, computer l lab, math rooms, engineering design room and offices.
Phase II June 2006 through August 2006—Completed
