Around the World with Little Mary Alice

Ninth-grade performing arts students from the Frederick V. Pankow Center present Around the World with Little Mary Alice April 11 at 7 p.m. at the John R. Armstrong Performing Arts Center.  The show revolves around a little girl who dreams of traveling around the world, and in her dreams, she visits countries, sings their songs and enjoys the dances that celebrate their culture.  The show was written by the performing arts students under the direction of Paulette Jankowsky, drama teacher, with musical direction from choir directors Evey Simon, L’Anse Creuse High School - North, and Aaron Kabobel, L’Anse Creuse High School.  The family-friendly performance will last approximately one hour.  General admission tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and children.  For more information, contact Michael Kaufman, director for performing arts, at 586-783-6570 ext. 1361.
