2008 Arson Awareness Poster Contest Awarded to two students
Visual Imaging Technology (VIT) students from the Frederick V. Pankow Center participated in the 2008 Arson Awareness Poster Contest recently. Kayla B, a senior from L’Anse Creuse High School, won second place for her computer illustration and Francesco Z, a senior from L’Anse Creuse High School – North, won third place for high school traditional illustration. The VIT program received a match of $250. “These were chosen from over 1000 entries by the Michigan Arson Prevention Committee (MAPC) and the Michigan Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI),” said Michael Hintze, visual imaging teacher.
