Chemistry Course Description:

Prerequisite: MST Biology at the Pankow Center.

This course at the MST Center is a survey of Chemistry. Chemistry is the study of matter and its interactions. This course is intended for students who plan to major in science, math or technology (not necessarily Chemistry) in post-secondary education. Students will learn the physical make-up of matters (atoms, molecules, ions) and the forces that cause them to interact.

MST Chemistry at the Pankow Center is an intended study in greater depth than Chemistry at the high schools. Students are expected to have good reading comprehension, high-level thinking skills, along with self-disciplined study habits.

All assignments and homework for MST Chemistry are posted on blackboard.
