About Web Design

Web Design is a two-hour block program.  It emphasizes how to plan, create, design, critique, and maintain web sites.  Students will learn a wide variety of proficiencies including HTML coding, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Macromedia FLASH MX, communication skills, graphics, and design.

Students will be able to create and design complete web sites suitable for commercial, educational, and personal needs.  Many web designers enjoy taking home a personal page to upload to the internet for their own personal use.

Welcome to an enthusiastic Web class!

Attention Parents:
Web Design class is offering students the opportunity to take an HTML Certification test that is available in class.  Passing this certification can mean the difference in students demonstrating to business employers a student's proficiency on the computer and also a higher level of motivation.  This certification can also present the opportunity for web students to acquire a much better position in the job market.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact Mrs. Schmid at 586.783.6570 ext. 2176 or schmide@lc-ps.org
