Certifications:
Students will have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to pass industry standard certification exams.

This course currently caters to the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications.  Others may be added in the future. If students already possess these certifications, or earn them during the year, they may be placed on a self-study track.

CompTIA: (A+, Network+, Server+, Security+...)
CompTIA is the provider of the A+ and Network+ exams covered in this class.  CompTIA also provides a wide variety of other industry standard exams.

Microsoft: (MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP...)
Microsoft offers a variety of certifications based around their products.  These certifications are highly desirable to employees in the industry as Windows Servers become more and more commonplace.

Cisco: (CCENT, CCNA...)
Cisco offers their own industry standard certifications focused on networking in small, medium, and large environments.
