Welcome to First Grade!

My name is Ann Dostal and I am your child's first grade teacher.

I began my career in L'Anse Creuse as a preschool teacher.  I taught kindergarten for 5 years and this is my 9th year teaching first grade.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have a MA degree in Teaching from Marygrove College.

I have a husband named Scott and two daughters and a step daughter. The three girls keep us busy and like many of you I juggle working full-time and family.  I enjoy walks with my husband Scott and our dog Buddy.

 

 

Specials Schedule

 

Monday Gym 12:40-1:30
Tuesday Art 1:45-2:35
Wednesday Gym 2:20-2:45
Thursday Music 1:00-1:50
Friday Spanish 10:45-11:30

We also have Library checkout on Fridays at 1:30. Please make sure your child returns his/her book every Friday.

Please make sure to have your child wear gym shoes on Monday & Wednesdays!

I send home weekly newsletters to provide parents with important information and curriculumm details. Parents can contact me via phone, e-mail or a wriiten note.  Parent & Teacher communication is essential for a successful school year.
