4th Annual Jump Rope for Heart Program
On Feb. 6, Lobbestael Elementary School students plan their 4th annual Jump Rope for Heart program, which is set up to have fun while exercising, learning about the heart, and helping to save lives by raising money for the American Heart Association. This year we have set a goal of saving 150 lives, or $7500! said Andrew Osterholm, physical education teacher. Students earn prizes for lives saved, and the class that saves the most lives will get lunch with Osterholm. Students will jump in one-hour blocks with half of that time being spent in the media center at stations that center on maintaining healthy hearts. Lobbestael Elementary School is located at 38495 Prentiss Street in Harrison Township. For more information, contact Osterholm at osteran@lc-ps.org.
