Hello! Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Harmon are the music teachers at Lobbestael this year. This web page serves as a window into our music classroom. Please visit us often to find out about all the musical happenings taking place in our building.
Half Day Kindergartners receive a total of 50 minutes of general music instruction a week.
Full Day Kindergartners receive of total of 75 minutes of music instruction a week.
Students in Grades 1-5 receive general music instruction once a week for 50 minutes.

Recorder Information
This area provides students and parents with information regarding the recorder program. You can print your own order forms from this site. Homework assignments and classroom activities are posted as well.
Upcoming Concerts
This area provides information on fourth and fifth grade choirs, the John Armstrong Performing Arts Center, and Upcoming Concerts. Information includes permission slips and performance schedules. In the future I hope to post pictures of past performances and possibly even sound clips.
The Lobbestael Music Room
This area includes several links to music related sites designed for students. There are lots of cool games and interesting activities for children.
