7th/8th Grade - Modular Technology
Modular Technology is an exploratory class in which students are introduced to different areas of technology and how they are used in the "real world". There are 16 different modules that are separated into different areas of techology. They are as follows:
Desktop Publishing
3-D Construction/Design
Auto Exploration
CO2 Racecar Design
Automation and Robotics Electronics
Controls and Sensors Plastics
Artificial Intelligence
Computer Problem Solving
Computer Aided Design
Web Development
Computer Graphic Design
Radio Broadcasting
Flight Simulation
Space and Rocketry
Students will have an opportunity to have at least 4 of these modules during a quarter. They will work cooperatively with a partner as well as earn a grade individually for their work at each module.
