Youth Appreciation

 

Three L’Anse Creuse students will be honored by the Clinton Township Area Optimists Club at a Youth Appreciation Breakfast at Fern Hill Country Club April 23 at 7 a.m.  Kyle W. and Kaitlin S., juniors from L’Anse Creuse High School, won first and second place, respectively, in an essay contest titled Today’s Choices Shape My Future Feb. 28, 2008.  Welch’s essay will be judged at the Michigan District Contest against other club winning entries for a $650 scholarship.  Max R., an eighth-grader from L’Anse Creuse Middle SchoolSouth, won first place in the Clinton Township Area Optimists Club Oratorical Contest titled Why Me? Why Not? March 15, 2008.
