About Mrs. Nyenhuis:

This is my ninth year in L'Anse Creuse.  I taught at Middle School-South for four years, then transferred to MS-C, and now MS-N is my home.  I currently teach 7th grade English and all drama classes.  I absolutely love teaching both courses!

I graduated from Michigan State University in 1999.  I am a Spartan through and through!  I enjoyed my years in East Lansing and look forward to returning each fall for football games, especially the one against the University of Michigan.  In 2003, I received my Master of Arts Degree from Michigan State.  In 2006, I earned my M.S. degree in technology curriculum.

In August 2004, I got married.  My husband is a Wolverine, so we have a great rivalry!  That same year, we added to our family in October when we adopted our dog, Zeppelin.  In 2006, our son, Nick, was born.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and son.  We especially love to play outdoors.  I play in a women's volleyball league.  My hobbies include card games, reading, camping, SCUBA diving, photography and scrapbooking.  I love to travel to new and exciting places, take pictures while we're there, then scrapbook the vacation.  My dreams are to travel to Europe and to dive in Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
