Jim Maisano - Eighth Grade English

Hello, and welcome to my webpage.  My name is Jim Maisano and I am an Eighth-grade English teacher here at Middle School-East. 

I have been teaching English for the past 10 years and I thoroughly enjoy my job.  I began my career at Middle School-North, and moved over to M.S.E when it opened in the Fall of 2000.  Along with teaching 8th grade English, I am also one of the eighth grade football coaches.  We enjoyed a successful 2004 season with a 5 win and 1 loss record. 

I grew up in nearby Sterling Heights, and attended De La Salle Collegiate where I graduated in 1988.  I was fortunate enough to earn a football scholarship to Saginaw Valley State University where I received my bachelors degree in English in 1992.  I later earned  my teacher certification and master's degree from Wayne State University and have been working for L'Anse Creuse ever since.
