Students Explore Korean Culture
L’Anse Creuse Middle School - East social studies students will explore Korea up close as Ms. Hye-in Lee, a Korean intern from Lobbestael Elementary School, visits their classes April 23. Lee will discuss Korean history, daily school life, differences between Korean and United States’ culture, demonstrate Korean dress, and show examples of the Korean alphabet, art, music and literature. Lee is spending one year in the United States to teach her culture while learning English and American culture. Lee’s presentation will run from 8 - 9 a.m. and from 10:10 a.m. - 3:05 p.m. L’Anse Creuse Middle School - East is located at 30300 Hickey Road.
