NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY

The National Junior Honor Society is composed of those eighth grade students who have demonstrated outstanding scholarship, leadership, citizenship, character and service during their careers at middle school.

Students are eligible for membership consideration during the second semester of their seventh grade year.  Eligible candidates are then evaluated by the teaching staff in terms of their contributions to our school.  The seventh grade students, who qualify, are inducted into the Society during a banquet each spring.

Eighth grade students, who did not qualify in their seventh grade year, are re-evaluated in their eighth grade year after the first semester.  If they qualify at that time, they are asked to join in March.
