Welcome to the MS-Central Band Site!

My name is Mrs. York and this is my 6th year here at MS-C, 18th in L'Anse Creuse.  I graduated from Royal Oak Kimball High School, Michigan State University (BA in humanities with an emphasis in music, history, and anthropology), and Madonna University (Teacher Certification, MA in Educational Leadership).

I am thrilled to be a part of the fabulous music department in L'Anse Creuse.  Students begin in the 6th grade, having new opportunities added each year, such as Jazz Band and combined concerts with other buildings.

Upcoming Dates for Band:

February 21-22, 2010  7th/8th Band Trip to Ohio State University and Great Wolf Lodge, Mason.

March 2, 2010  H.S. Band Taste of the Town

March 15, 2010  Combined 8th Grade Concert 7 p.m. at Armstrong Auditorium.
