GRADES

In P.E./ Health students are graded on a FOUR point scale.

1 point: Follows all rules

1 point:  Appropriate Dress (shoes, jewelry and clothing)

1 point: Appropriate Sportsmanship

1 point: Actively participates

Health quizzes, homework and projects are all graded on a point scale and about 30% of your grade will come from the health portion of the class!!!

 

**SIXTH GRADE**

Students will either receive CREDIT or NO CREDIT based on 70% of total points possible.

 

Classroom Guidelines

BE ON TIME (3 tardies= detention)

BE PREPARED

RESPECT EQUIPMENT & OTHERS

USE APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE & BEHAVIOR

JEWELERY, GUM, CANDY, FOOD are NOT allowed in the gym or lockeroom.

Choosing not to following classroom guidelines and rule will result in a lower citizenship grade.

YOU CAN MAKE UP POINTS!!!

There are make up forms in the gym.

For each day you are absent or you sit out, you can fill one of these out.

We ask that you participate in a physical activity that will increase your heart rate for at least 20 minutes.

You simply record your activity, the length, your heart rate, and have a guardian sign it.
