Personal Information:
I entered education 14 years ago with a passion to help children read, write, and learn. I believe that my students will make a difference in society after being part of my classroom and they will also have a positive impact on the world.
Moreover, I am humbled by how much my students have really "educated" me. I’ve learned more from them than I ever could have imagined. Over the years my students have taught me patience, courage, and tenacity; given me laughter, curiosity, and knowledge; and have offered me hope and vision for the future. I look forward to the rest of my teaching career, secure in the knowledge that they (and I) will learn something new every day.
On a personal note, I am a native of St. Clair County and I am married with five children. I round out my family of nine, with a dog named Koda and a cat named Mr. Wiskers.
