About L'Anse Creuse Middle School - Central

Middle School - Central is a school full of pride. In 1994 we were recognized as a National Exemplary School and we are currently accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Middle School - Central is a community for learning. We create smaller learning environments by teaming for higher achievement. Our school is a place where trusting relationships with adults and peers create a climate for students' personal growth and intellectual development.

Each student at Middle School - Central learns to think critically through mastery of a comprehensive curriculum, lead a healthy life, behave ethically and lawfully, and assume the responsibility of citizenship in our society.

At Middle School - Central, we believe that families and schools must be allied through trust and respect if young adolescents are to succeed in school. We encourage and invite parent involvement.

Students attend our school because they reside within the boundaries of our building, determined by the district, unless a schools-of-choice option is selected. Our enrollment this past year was 750 students.

Middle School - Central has a full compliment of teaching staff and support staff. Eighty percent of our professional staff have a master's degree or above. Together we work to provide Middle School - Central adolescents with the preparation they need for life in the 21st century. We are proud of our school.
