A Lil' bit about Mrs. Swank...
Born and raised on a farm in Yale, Mi. Mrs. Swank was the youngest of 5 girls. She loved the outdoors and riding horses. One of her favorite pets was her pony named Billy!
 
Mrs. Swank graduated from Croswell Lexington High School. She then went to college and received her bachelors degree in Science Education from Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN. Then she went on to receive her Masters in Counseling from Central Michigan University.
She taught Biology for 2 years at Port Huron High School. For 4 years she had the opportunity to be a guidance counselor here at LCHSN. She is now teaching Biology and Environmental Science at HSN.
In her leisure she enjoys spending time with her husband, her cockerspaniel Zaccheus, and her extended family and friends. She also enjoys traveling overseas. She has had the opportunity to travel to go back packing in Alberta, Canada; Ireland; Mali,Africa; Paris, France; Venezuela; Domincan Republic; Mexico, and Hawaii. She also enjoys reading, doing pottery, painting, playing volleyball, reading, painting, and going out to movies.
