Welcome to Geometry or Integrated Math Class With Ms. Lovins!
Hi! My name is Linda Lovins, and this is my fourth year of teaching mathematics at L'Anse Creuse High School-North. I received my Bachelors Degree from Walsh College of Accounting and Business Administration and am a Certified Public Accountant as well as a teacher (although I no longer work in accounting). I received my teaching certification and my Masters of Education Degree from Saginaw Valley State University. I am highly qualified under federal standards to teach both mathematics and social studies.
I love teaching mathematics because it really makes me feel good to help students master difficult concepts. And I love teaching at High School-North because the students there are so dedicated and such great fun to be around!
My goal is to make mathematics not only understandable to you, but enjoyable as well! Anyone entering my classroom prepared and willing to put forth the required effort, will in no doubt succeed! Please consult the syllabus for your class to read about my classroom policies, procedures, and recommended materials:

I encourage all students to ask questions and seek help from me whenever necessary. I will do everything in my power to help you succeed at mathematics! But, remember, you must do your part, too, by completing daily assignments and properly preparing for tests and quizzes. My Family
I have lived within the L'Anse Creuse-North community for over twenty years. My three children graduated from High School-North. (And no, they did not mind attending school where their mom was a teacher!) Eddie is a graduate of Wayne State University with a degree in Mathematics, and Sarah and Jacob both attend Oakland University. Our family pet is a Jack-a-poo named Kobe.
