Spare Change Collected to Support Hurricane Ike Workers

The L’Anse Creuse High School - North band collected $127 in spare change to support Hurricane Ike workers deployed from Michigan by providing water, Gatorade and snacks.  Carolyn Hosler, the band paraprofessional, organized the Marching Crusaders in the fund-raising effort for Katrina workers in 2005 also.  Hosler’s husband, a hydraulic mechanic, has been in the Louisiana and Texas area since Labor Day and brags that he has 187 kids supporting and encouraging him from home, said Hosler.  The band is led by John Boren.  L’Anse Creuse High School - North is located at 23700 Twenty-One Mile Road.   For more information, contact Hosler at hosleca@lc-ps.org.
