High School students welcome Uwe Kind

L’Anse Creuse High School and L’Anse Creuse High School - North German language students welcome internationally known German teacher Uwe Kind for a concert Feb. 1 at 9:45 a.m. at the John Armstrong Performing Arts Center.  Kind, who has studied at Harvard, writes and performs songs that teach German grammar and vocabulary with humor and rock and disco beats.  Students from eight other Detroit-area high schools plan to attend and take part on stage for some of the songs.  The L’Anse Creuse German language students will act out two of Kind’s songs.  The John Armstrong Performing Arts Center is located at 24600 F. V. Pankow Boulevard in Clinton Township.  For more information, please contact German teacher Michael Bilen at bilenmi@lc-ps.org.
