Headed to Harvard University
Christopher H of Macomb is headed to Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., this fall with a full scholarship. Christopher graduated from L’Anse Creuse High School-North as a co-valedictorian. While at High School-North, Christopher was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Student Council, the marching band, the wind ensemble, symphonic band, Science Olympiad, show choir, drama club, the prestigious Macomb Community College’s Magic Company show choir group, Boy Scouts, and the St. Claude religious youth group. Christopher earned 350 hours of community service by creating a nature trail for his Eagle Scout project; L’Anse Creuse requires 40 hours to graduate. Additional hours were earned by teaching kindergarten religious education classes at St. Thecla Catholic Church. Christopher plans to major in politics or linguistics at Harvard and complete a pre-medical track.
