National Honor Society
L'Anse Creuse High School - North

Students are eligible to apply for our chapter of the National Honor Society if they are a current sophomore or junior with a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or above.

Applications are mailed to the homes of these students in early January.  Applications are also available in our counseling office.

The applciation consists of the following pieces:

  • Application of student accomplishments
  • Three teacher evaluations
  • Two extracurricular activity forms (one activity must be a school sponsored activity)

Members or our group are very active and must complete 18 hours of NHS activities per year.  We participate in many activities such as after school tutoring, helping community organizations, and fund raising for scholarships.

Students are encouraged to take their time and to complete these applications to the best of their ability.  Information in these packets is what will be used to determine those eligible for NHS membership.
