Dear Parents and Player,

I have enclosed in this letter the team rules.  The team rules must be signed by both the parent and student athlete and get handed in.  A copy will be given back to the player.  Soccer unlike most sports is a true team sport.  It takes 11 players working as a unit to make it work.  The team is most important, not the individual.  What is good for the team is every coach’s first thought.  Teams that have success understand this concept and support each other as teammates no matter who gets the credit.  Coaches are not out to disappoint or dislike a player.  The student athlete must be able to talk with the coach.  Communication must be setup with them first before any parent contact can occur.  As coaches we will try to explain each player’s role and where improvements can be made.  We hope these policies and rules open better lines of communication.

Sincerely,

Scott Boice
