Construction Updates November 2006

Project Update

  • The new storm drain that runs from LCHS, behind MSC to Graham Elementary has been installed and rough grading has been completed.  Seeding will be done in the spring.
  • Steel frame work and joists for B wing in the gym area are installed. (see photo)
  • Masonry walls and piers are under construction. (see photo)
  • Mechanical and electrical work continues.
    Concrete footings are complete in both A and B wings.
  • Existing crock pipe has been replaced in the gym area.
  • Asphalt work is being done on the east side, at the bus loop exit and the east entrance to the student parking lot.
  • Completion of the project is scheduled for August 2007.




Summer/Fall Construction Projects

  • Improvements to underground drainage on site
  • Installation of  artificial turf on football field
  • Resurfacing of track
  • Demolition of existing gymnasium
  • Construction of new three-court gymnasium and sports lobby
  • Construction of new main entrance
  • Construction of new student commons area and school store
