Educational Background: Ms. Benavides is an alumni of L'Anse Creuse High School; Valedictorian, Class of 1999.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wayne State University in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education with a major in Social Studies and minor in Mathematics.  After student teaching at her alma mater, she was hired back at L'Anse Creuse High School to teach in the Social Studies department.  She currently teaches 9th grade US History and AP US History for college-bound 11th and 12th grade students.
