Student signs letter of intent with Central Michigan University

On Feb. 3, L’Anse Creuse High School senior Tyler L. signed a letter of intent to play Division I  NCAA football at Central Michigan University.  Tyler, the Lancers’ team MVP and MVP offensive back, received Macomb Area Conference (MAC) Gold All-League honors and was named "First Team Running-Back."    The Macomb Daily selected Tyler as "First Team Tier 1 Running-Back" and "First Team All-County Running-Back".  The Detroit Free Press named him to their "All East Team, First Team Line-Backer" and "All State First Team" Running-Back."  The 6’2", 240 pound fullback/line-backer rushed for 884 yards this season, averaging 8.26 yards per carry and had 17 touchdowns during his season.  For more information, contact varsity football coach, Don Roda, at rodado@lc-ps.org or at 586-783-6400.
